No. USCIS requires you to bring in with you, your biometrics appointment notice (I-797), an acceptable form of ID (ex. passport/photo ID from your country, military photo ID, state issued ID), all required initial evidence including your prior card, and any other supporting documents such as court ordered name change, marriage certificate, birth certificate, or police report of a stolen card.
