To remove the conditions of a conditional green card based on marriage, the USCIS uses Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence. However, to remove the conditions on a conditional green card as an investor or entrepreneur, Form I-829, Petition by Entrepreneur to Remove Conditions is used. USCIS requires that both of these applications are filed within the 90 days before the conditional permanent residence expires.
